Having said that, it is with great pride and anticipation that I announce a significant milestone in the American Lebanon Education Foundation (ALEF) history to fortify America's Lebanon’s ties and effectively work with every US Administration in a bipartisan way on behalf of Lebanon.
To that effect, we are introducing today our modern digital website platform, a resource for insights and access to unique information in our ever-evolving digital landscape.
Lebanon stands today facing significant institutional challenges. Its democracy, economy, and sovereignty are facing threats from Hezbollah—an internationally recognized terrorist group entrenched in every layer of government, finance, and daily life. Corruption, clientelism, and militant dominance have left a proud nation defenseless and the Lebanese people voiceless.
We are shifting from observation to implementation. Now is the moment to move forward with concrete steps. Sustaining liberty requires ongoing effort if we are ever to build a real state. It is high time for American and Lebanese patriot activists to take the lead in the New Middle East shaping up. If not us, then who?
