Lebanon’s politicians are not merely corrupt; they are a fully integrated gang, mastering deception as skillfully as they master theft. They quarrel in front of cameras like hungry wolves, then divide the spoils behind closed doors like old friends. Their conflicts are an illusion, their rivalries a staged performance. The truth is a complete partnership in looting the state and destroying what remains of the country. No one dares approach another’s wealth, and no corrupt figure is ever held accountable, because everyone is implicated and everyone is exposed.
This class did not stop at stealing public funds; it sold national sovereignty and allied itself with the armed, illegitimate Hezbollah militia to shield it from any accountability. Weapons outside the state in exchange for power within it — a filthy bargain paid for by the Lebanese people through poverty, humiliation, and isolation. At the head of this system stands Nabih Berri, the symbol of chronic corruption, who runs Parliament like a flock of sheep, taming MPs, breaking institutions, and blocking any change, acting as the faithful guardian of a system of plunder and decay.
When they bankrupted the treasury, they reached for the International Monetary Fund not to save Lebanon, but to prolong their theft. New debts piled onto the backs of an exhausted people, while their stolen billions are hidden abroad, safely distant from the collapse they engineered in cold blood. These people do not govern; they extort. They do not run a state; they manage deliberate destruction.
What they fail to understand is that the Lebanese are no longer afraid or deceived. Anger is accumulating, awareness is growing, and the moment is approaching.
This corrupt class will be confronted and brought down — not with slogans, but with accountability. The coming days are not far, and a street that has endured for too long will no longer accept being ruled by thieves. The era of impunity is over, and whoever believes they are protected by weapons or money will soon discover that the will of the people is stronger than any corrupt system.
God bless Lebanon and the United States of America
